Is my pump Imperial or Metric?
It's important to know whether your pump was manufactured
using the old imperial system or the newer metric system.
If you're not sure, the easiest way to tell is by the thread
size.
Imperial pumps have a thread size which is larger than the
metric pumps as shown below:
