Whirlpools - Just a Gimmick?

This is a small sample of the letters which Customers have written into us over the years.

RELAXATION

I am writing to say how delighted we are with our whirlpool. Having originally bought it for our physically handicapped foster child Teri, we find the whole family has benefitted from it. Teri has two dislocated hips which give her immense pain, resulting in many sleepless nights and has even been known to fall asleep in the bath! The pleasure on her little face as she relaxes makes it worth every single penny. Even the doctor agrees that she is more relaxed and able to move her limbs more easily. Dad, after a stressful day, finds it most relaxing, it must surely cut down on stress and therefore possible heart attacks. Our daughter Ruth is delighted to find that having a Jacuzzi twice a week, has resulted in her having lost two inches from her hips and an inch from her waist without even dieting. Paul, our son who swore he was allergic to water and had to be practically dragged into the bathroom, now has to be persuaded to get out of the bath to give someone else a chance. You could say our bathroom has never been so popular. And I at the end of a busy day enjoy a long hot soak, to let the aches and stress of the day disappear in a bath of bubbles resulting in a peaceful life for everyone. Talk about a family problem saver - definitely money well spent!!.

ACHES AND PAINS

I just had to write and tell you, how my husband and I have benefitted since you installed our Whirlpool. My husband has suffered from an ache in his side (which he gets from driving) for a long time, but now, thanks to a relaxing 5 minutes in beautiful swirling water, he has noticed great improvement and less frequent pain. I myself have a ligament and cartilage injury to my right knee feeling more normal than it has for a long time. Thank you very much for your delightful product.

OSTEO-ARTHRITIS

I would like to say how delighted I am with the Jacuzzi I had installed four weeks ago. It has made a great difference to me. I have had a spinal fusion operation and I also suffer with osteo-arthritis in my spine, neck, hips, knee's, ankles, hands and elbows. After saying all that, I must sound like a total wreck! And that is exactly what I felt like, until I had my Jacuzzi installed My bad days were really bad and I would be reduced to tears, not knowing what to do with myself. I still get my bad days of course but, now I feel like a different person. If for some reason I miss a day, my poor old bones soon let me know. I don't know how I managed before I had it. I know it will never cure my arthritis but it certainly helps believe me. I think its wonderful.

TENNIS ELBOW

I suffer with Tennis Elbow and had to resort to pain killers until I started using my Jacuzzi. Now I can honestly say that I have no need of any pain killers at all. Also, I work in a psychiatric hospital and often come home completely exhausted. However, after a session in the Jacuzzi I am totally invigorated, often going back out and dancing for another three hours. My sons both play rugby and after a hard match find the Jacuzzi really soothing to their aching limbs. In fact, nobody just bathes in our house any more, the Jacuzzi is in constant use.

RHEUMATISM

After many years of painful suffering with severe rheumatism, and having tried numerous treatments without any lasting relief, it is a great relief at last to find something that actually works. My 15 minutes per day spent in this marvellous invention has now enabled me to carry on my life again and do all the things I want to do again without being dependent on others to achieve them.

ARTHRITIS

Years ago I was in a wheelchair following an operation, so for a long time now I've found difficulty in walking. Since then, I now have arthritis in my joints, especially in my knees, but I find my Whirlpool very relaxing, it massages my body and I find I can walk better now. After my operation which affected the lower part of my spine, I regularly suffer from backache, but now after years of suffering I find my Whirlpool makes my back pains much easier. My twenty-one year old son does weight lifting and he finds it definitely relaxes his body and takes the aches away. My fifteen year old is in it all the time for relaxation. It certainly does the muscles good. Alot of my friends and neighbours are impressed by it, in fact one has already bought one because like me he suffers from bad knees.

HAPPINESS

We would very much like to thank your company for the happiness the Jacuzzi has given to my family - We range in age from 7 - 72 and all ills from tension, arthritis and pain relief after accidents have been "washed away". My daughter especially after breaking her ankle has been mobile again without pain very quickly. My son, the seven year old, has eczema and the bath has made his leg so much easier to deal with and it is even beginning to keep it under control. My husband and I enjoy the relaxing soothing effect at the end of the day.

TENSION

I would like to tell you how pleased we have been with the Jacuzzi you installed for us. At the time it was installed my diabetic wife was five months pregnant and she found that the Jacuzzi helped relieve the backache and tension she had right through to the end of her pregnancy, she also said that it helped her tremendously to relax therefore, enabling her to get a good nights sleep. She has since had a baby girl and I must say she also seems to be enjoying it. As for myself I have also found it a great way of relieving the tensions of the day.

HEADACHES

I suffer a great deal from arthritis. I don't ache so much now and I can do more. I find the pain in my ankles is easier and I can walk better. Also my back is a lot better. I use it every evening averaging about 20 minutes per time. It eases all my muscles and I feel a lot more relaxed. When I spend my day shopping I feel tired and aching and my ankles are I swollen but I feel fine after 20 minutes in my Whirlpool. I was waking up in the nights. I don't any more, mind you I,m not sure that's the Whirlpool but come to think of it I have never slept better since I've had it. Our skin is softer and looks and feels cleaner. We all feel our skin is more healthy - that's the first thing noticed about your Whirlpool.

RHEUMATISM

Our Whirlpool bath has been installed for just over 3 months and both my husband and self are delighted with it. I must admit I was more than a little sceptical of the claims of the medical benefits we would get from the Jacuzzi. However I now readily admit I was wrong. My husband suffers from rheumatism in his knees and hands and tends to get pain in his lower back from time to time. Since using the Jacuzzi he has found his pain in his back and joints has eased considerably. I often come home from work tense and on edge but after using the Jacuzzi I find that I am relaxed and able to enjoy my evenings. I also get a form of nervous Eczema which seems to have been much better recently, due I feel to the relaxing effect of the whirlpool and the stimulation of the blood by the Jacuzzi jets.
